The "GoSurf Alert" service covers Long Island, NY .. currently... Western / Central Long Island:   · from Rockaway out to [about] Moriches   * If you're around the Moriches area:     - if you look at buoy data [primarily] from 44025 then use this region. East End -- coming soon!   · from [about] Moriches, but closer to Shinnecock, on out to "The End"   * Please note: SWELL DIRECTION data for Buoy 44017 is NOT AVAILABLE     (We don't known if NDBC plans to ["re-?"] install a direction sensor.)
